Vinton-Shellsburg High School’s Industrial Technology department believes that the programs we offer should teach and use Industrial Technology in a way that serves as a vehicle to build understanding, skills, and attitudes that can be generalized and applied to technology.  Because all people are affected by technology and its ever-increasing presence in our lives, students are encouraged to participate in Industrial Technology courses.  As students enter the high school Industrial Technology curriculum, their avenues divide and students may enroll in a variety of general and specific courses.  These courses serve to hone their skills prior to graduation.
