Whether you are new to VSMS or you have been with us before, we are beyond excited to have you here!  We are incredibly proud of all of the opportunities that we have available for our students.  While at Vinton-Shellsburg Middle School we encourage you to make the most of your time with us by participating in the variety of experiences that we offer.  This webpage has been developed by our faculty and administration to help you and your parents learn as much about your school policies and procedures as the services we offer.

I strongly encourage you to be an active member of Vinton-Shellsburg Middle School.  We will provide you with an excellent academic foundation while offering you additional opportunities through RTI, activities, and sports to help students become well-rounded, mature young adults.  Our “Commitment to Excellence” is our promise to you and our expectation for every student.
