Kindergarten is where we begin to build a strong foundation for Literacy and Math skills.  Through Superkids Reading curriculum, students learn phonics, phonemic awareness, handwriting, fluency, and comprehension. The curriculum is highly engaging for all students. Our Everyday Math curriculum is hands-on and engaging for students with many learning  opportunities through various math games. Kindergarten has the opportunity to attend three fun field trips each year. These are great experiences for students to explore in a new environment with hands-on-learning. It is important for students to also learn how to be respectful, responsible, and safe while at school. We teach this by modeling and rewarding positive behavior (PBIS).
