“When an opportunity presented itself in the Vinton-Shellsburg School District, I knew it was time to come back to my home school district and give back to the system that gave me so much.  I moved here with my wife Melanie (Vinton-Shellsburg Class of 96) and our four kids: Maggie, Abby, Hayden, and Nile.  Once a Viking, always a Viking.  I started in our District as High School Associate Principal.  I have also been the Principal of the Alternative School and the District At-Risk Coordinator.  I am thrilled to now have the opportunity to be Principal at Shellsburg Elementary.”
